Surviving the Holdays Seminar (DivorceCare)
If you are separated or divorced, the holidays can be a lonely, stressful and depressing time. But there’s hope. Join us for an encouraging seminar to discover how to enjoy the holidays again. It will be held Friday, December 4, from 6:30 to 8:30pm, here at the church, in the Fireside Room. The event is free; however, there is a $5.00 charge (scholarships are available) for the workbook, which includes devotionals for the holiday season. RSVP by calling Debbie Brisentine at 878-8192, ext. 225. Reservations will be accepted through Tuesday, December 1. Free childcare is provided for infants through 5th graders.
DivorceCare
This 13 week course, which features Biblical teaching, is designed to help those going through the difficult time of separation and/or divorce. You will have the opportunity to share life and learn with others experiencing similar feelings and situations. Our next class will begin on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm sometime after the Christmas holidays, (exact dates TBA). There is no fee for the class; however, the workbook costs $12.00 (scholarships are available).
If you attend the DivorceCare class, your child(ren) may attend the DivorceCare for Kids class or the childcare being offered each Sunday during the same time.

DivorceCare For Kids (DC4K)
This course is available for chidren, ages 5 through 12, whose parent is attending the DivorceCare class being held at the same time each week. This weekly class features Biblical teaching and is designed to help kids get through the difficult time of their parents' separation or divorce. There is no fee for the class; however, the workbook costs $15.00 (scholarships are available).

GriefShare
This support group and seminar series is offered to those going through the difficult time following the loss of a loved one. Whether it is a spouse, a child, a sibling, or another close relative or friend, you may find great comfort being with others going through similar experiences. Our next session will begin on Sundays at 6:00pm sometime after the Christmas holidays, (exact dates TBA). There is no fee for the class; however, the workbook costs $12.00 (scholarships are available).
